I know that many kids have been riding bikes since they were quite young, but our kids were not interested in bikes until this year. Dennis' mom had a bike that she thought was the right size for Ellie. Before Ellie was able to try the bike from Grandma, she went over to her friend's house and picked up riding on a smaller bike they had there. I found her riding around the street when I went to pick her up. As soon as she got home, she hopped on the bike from Grandma and rode up and down the street like she'd been riding for years. I love how adventurous and determined she is. She's wanted to ride her bike almost everyday for the past two weeks. Dennis and I even got our bikes down from the dusty rack in the garage and rode up and down the street with her. Josh rode with us on his scooter. He's very anxious for a bike now too, so we'll be on the look out for one. This will be a fun (and healthy) way to spend time together in the warmer months!
She was smiling ear to ear!
Josh always seems to be creating something. On several occasions, he disappeared into the office for quite some time. When he came out, he had these paper creations. I thought they were pretty creative; so being the proud mama, I had to share!
