Kidspace Museum 2014

I had heard of the Kidsapce Museum before, but we had never been. I really didn't know what to expect, but in the end, I was a bit disappointed. We paid less than regular price thankfully. I would have not been happy to have had to pay the full price. There's not a lot to this museum. But that was my feeling; the kids had a fun time and were glad we went.

If there's a tree, she'll climb it!

The kids were divided into two groups. The K-3rd graders had a presentation on bugs while the 5th-8th graders learned about physics. Josh participated, but he was bored and was ready to go inside as soon as it was done.

I was able to catch Ellie's group when they came outside. I wish Josh could have done this; he would have enjoyed it much more.

Once the presentations were over, we were able to explore on our own.The kids enjoyed the various outside exhibits.

It was a chilly day, so I was glad to move inside. The kids had fun climbing and learning some more about bugs.

After lunch we did some more of the outside exhibits.

Before we left, the kids played on the playground.

And the overcast day made for good lighting to take some pictures.

I know the museum has a free day which would be nice as it is a bit pricey otherwise; but since it's not that big of a place, I think it might be crowded. Having to wait to give the exhibits a try wouldn't be fun for kids. I'm glad we went, but probably wouldn't go again.
