California Science Center Family Trip 2013

Our Easter vacation was a bit divided up this year. We basically had two four-day weekends due to the kids' testing schedule - it fell the week Dennis was off of school. After enjoying Good Friday service, celebrating my Grandma's 90th birthday and having a quiet Easter at home as a foursome, we finally made it out on Monday to the California Science Center.

Although the kids and I had enjoyed a field trip here with our homeschool group, it was fun to see it as a family. Dennis and I had fun looking for the two shuttles that launched when we were in Orlando back in the days before kids. Good memories! Especially since upon returning from the 2nd trip we learned we were expecting Ellie!

The kids got to see some of the things we missed on our previous field trip. It was a bit crowded, but we still managed to see all we wanted. It was a fun family day; and even though this was a vacation day - it ended up counting as a school day since it was an educational outing. Homeschooling is so cool!
