Friday School Christmas Program 2016

Our Friday school Christmas chapel was big this year. Each teacher came up with their own ideas and the coordinator put them together in a nice way. I had students read from Luke 2:1-7 and then sing and sign "Silent Night."

The 6th graders chose to sing "Carol of the Bells." It was a difficult song, but they managed to do it fairly well in the program.

The 5th-8th graders were given the chance to do a hip hop dance to "Little Drummer Boy." Ellie participated in this. They did great!

The 7th and 8th graders also had the chance to sing "Christmas Is." Ellie found the song on YouTube and asked our children's worship leader to chart if for her. She was able to play guitar for it.

The coordinator, asked her to introduce our final speaker for the program as well.

Following the program, we invited Ellie's friends over for lunch and to "hang out." It ended up being an impromptu birthday party for Ellie as well. She is so blessed to have these girls as her friends.
