The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. -Deuteronomy 31:8
Homeschooling can bring out the worst and the best in you. . . Our inabilities to be a supermom seem immensely larger than the homeschooling blessings. We can feel like we are constantly disappointing someone - our husband, our children, our extended family or ourselves. We can be tempted to cut our losses and give up. God can seem far away. . . Homeschooling is for children. God will strengthen us to teach them.
Is today one of your bad homeschooing days? Have the failures seemed greater than the successes? Don't lose sight of the reason for homeschooling. God has called you to teach your children, and he has promised to never leave you or forsake you.
-The Homeschool Mom's Bible; Devotions by Janet Tatman; March 8; p. 275
