Josh continued with his golf lessons this spring with First Tee of Pasadena. His skills are improving which we noticed when we played mini golf at Johns Incredible Pizza one afternoon. He was making great puts! At one of his lessons, the kids went out on the course in groups. The coach told Dennis Josh was a good leader of the group. Of course, you know how we feel about sports teaching character, and First Tee really emphasizes this both on and off the course. Each week Josh has to write down how he showed the character trait they are learning about in golf, at school and at home.
He has been in the introductory Player level for two years and his coach said he is ready to move up to the intermediate Par level. To move up he will have to take a test on the rules of golf and play nine holes. He and Dennis will work on this during the summer. Good job, son!
