San Diego Zoo 2015

This year our homeschool group went to the San Diego Zoo instead of the San Diego Safari Park. We were excited as we hadn't been for several years. It was a beautiful and we had a lot of fun with our friends.

Pretty in pink!

Got to see the tiger up close!

How big cats play!

The red panda is so unique. . . a picture of God's creativity

He looked like he was hiding out.

It was no surprise to find these two had climbed up on this tall camel. . . They love to climb!

After taking a wrong turn, we walked and walked and walked trying to get to the polar bear enclosure. We were grateful that the polar bear was out and moving around to make our trek worthwhile!

Selfie!

The snow leopard was beautiful.

Still my favorite!

Fun day!

A Precious Jewel

But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. -1 Corinthians 1:27

Being unpopular can be difficult. . . But God did not use popular people to do His will. . . David, Moses, Jeremiah, Jonah, Rahab, Ruth, and even Jesus were rejected. Homeschooling moms can struggle with loneliness; living on a single income; and feeling like like "I'm just a mom". . . But in the eyes of God you are a precious jewel for obeying His call to teach your children. He treasures you and wants you to find your value in Him.
